Android how to / How To Download Your Spotify Playlist To The Galaxy Watch 4
Sometimes it’s good to stay connected, but sometimes you just want to disconnect, which you can easily do if you download your Spotify playlists and albums to your Galaxy Watch 4. Or any other Wear OS watch that you may own. Your Wear OS watch is easily capable of acting as a controller if you stream your music.
And that’s great if you want to keep your phone on you. But if you want lighter pockets and still want to listen to your music, why not download your songs? You may not know how to download your music to your Galaxy Watch 4 but the process is a lot simpler than you might think. There are a few steps but once you get it down it feels like second nature. Then the only thing you’ll have to think about is what songs to listen to.

The first step, naturally, is to make sure that Spotify is installed on your watch. If it’s not, you can easily grab it from the Play Store to get started.
Open up the Play Store on your watch and search for Spotify. Once you find it, install the app and wait for the installation to complete.
Next you’ll need to pair the Spotify app on your watch to the app on your phone. Open the app, and you’ll be asked to pair it to the phone app. Make note of the code on the watch screen.
You can do this step from any browser be it mobile or on your desktop or laptop. With the browser open, head to spotify.com/pair.
At the pairing website, you’ll need to log in with your Spotify email and password. Once logged in, you will need to enter the code that popped up on your watch. You’ll be logged in after you enter the code from earlier.

Now that you’ve got the app installed and it’s logged in, all that’s left to do is to start downloading any of the music you want to listen to.
Launch the Spotify app on your watch. Find the music you want to download. Remember, you can download podcasts, songs, albums, or even whole playlists.
When you launch the Spotify app, it immediately brings up the play button screen and should show you the last song played on your account. Swipe to the left to bring up the menu.
You’ll find the downloads option towards the top of this screen. But what you want to do is scroll to find the music you want to download. Tap on the music, then scroll down just a little until you see the download to watch option.
Now that you’ve downloaded everything you want to listen to, go back to the screen where you saw the downloads option and in that menu you’ll find everything that’s been downloaded to the watch. Tap on any music you want and hit the play button to start listening.
Obviously, make sure you have some Bluetooth headphones or earbuds connected. And that’s it! Now you can download your Spotify songs, albums, playlists, and podcasts to your Galaxy Watch 4 or other Wear OS smartwatch anytime you want. Cycle stuff in and out at your leisure.
